The Pride Newton Elite pedals dimensions are 100mm X 112mm making them perfect for the young riders 10 and up who have to run flats and are looking for the security of a pedal that they won't slip no matter how dicey the conditions. They are also a great fit for the older rider who has an appreciation of their own limits and are sticking to flat pedals for racing instead of clipping in. These are a quality piece of gear having a CNC'd body that is concaved for optimal foot contact, with nice long pins that are replaceable. Your Vans will grip these like you are clipped in, but you'll have the confidence of knowing you can take your foot off at any time. A heat treated chromoly axle/spindle will add to your confidence in these pedals.
