V Brake Kits
Shop here for Australia's best selection of BMX V-brake kits. Everything you need is in the kit, the lever, the cable and the V-Brake calipers. The one thing you need to check is if you need a "mini" or a "pro" caliper in the kit. Mini calipers are usually 85mm in length and are designed to be run in conjunction with 451 wheels (20 x 1-1/8 / 20 x 1-3/8th inch wheels).
A pro caliper size is as the name suggests, compatible with pro sized (406mm) wheels found on, you guessed it, pro sized bikes! The caliper arms are typically 108mm in length.
One final check. What side do you run your lever on? The majority of V-brake levers are "side specific" and on the product's description you'll be able to determine if the lever is a left or right side lever. Or ambidextrous, mean it can be run on either side.
Pro tip: If you are running carbon fibre rims, you will need to buy separately carbon specific brake pads. You can find them here in this section
