Taj Mihelich is arguably one of the most inspirational and creative BMX freestyle riders of all time. From the 1990's onwards he set the tone for new school BMX.
2025 marks 30 years since the release of the Taj's original signature frame from Hoffman bikes. With it's wishbone seat and chain stays, it was one of the most revolutionary frames of the time and went on to become an Icon of the era.
When Taj left Hoffman to begin T1 with Joe Rich, the double wishbone was a crucial design feature on the legendary Barcode frame, and remains to this day.
This tribute Hoffman TAJ custom build is a blend of mid and new school stock, with less than a subtle nod to the late 1990's, coupled with modern geometry and weight.
