The Excess Pro Rear Hub 120R has a 36 hole configuration which is perfectly suited for Pro sized race bikes. This is the hub to choose when building a high-end wheelset for your custom race bike, with the added advantage that it can be configured as a disc brake hub with the purchase of centre-lock disc adapter to future-proof your bike.
As it's becoming more and more common to see disc brake options being offered on after-market frames, even down to the junior sizes, if you choose this rear hub from Excess, you can rest easy knowing that if you upgrade the frame, you can choose a disc-brake only frame without having to build another set of wheels. You simply convert this hub, add the disc brake system and you'll be washing off your speed as you cross the line with ease with full control as you point to the fans in the stands celebrating the W with you.
An alloy driver means that this hub is a tad lighter than its little brother, the 24R, and with 120 ratchets outer ring, it also hooks up seemlessly when you lay on the power.
