Pro XXL BMX race bikes are defined by not only their top tube size, which is generally between 21.5 and less than 22 inches, but also by design traits like a tapered head tube allowing stronger tapered forks to be used, and larger diameter tubing throughout the frame. These attributes provide a stronger, stiffer platform for the bigger, more powerful rider.
