As we come to the end of another year, we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for your support in 2022. It’s been an interesting year for LUXBMX. At points it’s felt that just as some pandemic related challenges start to ease off, more new ones appear. Luckily there have been so many highlights to keep us going!
We’ve worked on a few projects this year that we’re incredibly stoked on, but the highlight for sure would be winning the Vans Circle Video Competition. Out of 18 of the coolest BMX stores in the world LUXBMX was ranked first. Our content creator Troy (Big Salad) did an amazing job with the video and the whole team put in so much work. We couldn’t be more proud of the result.
On the events front the highlight for us was the King of BNE Street Jam organized by our head of events Tim. The turnout was incredible and some of the riding that went down was simply unbelievable. A massive thanks to everyone who managed to make it out. If you didn't, we'd highly recommend checking it out next year!
Our own LUXBMX brand apparel has become a focus again for us in 2022. Our lifestyle category manager Mikey has put countless hours into perfecting the finer details and has done an incredible job. We’re blown away by the response to the first range and we can’t wait to show you the new drop coming first thing next year. Keep your eyes peeled for that…
2022 saw our biggest day ever by order volume on Cyber Monday. Special shoutout to the warehouse crew who absolutely killed it to get through the backlog of orders so quickly and our customer service team for handling the sheer volume of enquiries during this period. The LUXBMX crew is stronger than ever and continues to inspire us each day.
We also want to take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigated the challenges of the year. From continuing supply chain disruptions, stock availability and freight issues we know not everything this year has run smoothly. Your loyalty and support has been an inspiration for us, and we’re so thankful for each and every one of our customers. Your trust in us means the world. It's surreal and humbling to reflect on the fact that we’ve served over 50,000 customers as of this year.
As we look ahead to the new year, we are filled with hope and excitement for what’s to come. While we can't predict what the future will bring, one thing is for certain. Our path and purpose as a business is clearer than ever. We’re so grateful to have you as part of our community and we’re sure you’ll be excited for what we have in store in 2023.
