{THE STORY SO FAR}
LUXBMX Store officially opened with a bang on Friday the 9th of July, 2010 with a big launch party that lasted well into the night.
The concept of LUXBMX had long been a dream of co-owners Evan Jaques and Mitch Wood, both who wanted to offer a completely unique bike shop experience like nothing before it.
After months of preparation, location scouting and a gruelling shop fittout Evan and Mitch's dream finally became a reality on the opening night, with finishing touches still being added minutes before the doors opened.
LUXBMX Store is located in a little backalley just off Wickham St, in the Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The shop itself is located in an almost century-old building that spend the majority of its life as a printing press and in later years a basement storage area. The location is central and easy to get to, yet relaxed enough to have a ride on the street in front of the shop. Evan and Mitch fell in love with this location as soon as they found it and the rest is history.
Skip to now and the store is still constantly progressing and changing, whether it be with the latest BMX products, regular events in Brisbane or improvements to the shop. The main vision of LUXBMX still stays the same, to offer the riders of Brisbane and the rest of Australia the newest range of BMX products and streetwear while remaining a haven for riders to hang out, have a chat and feel a part of our growing BMX community.

Shipping anywhere in Australia is set at a flat rate of $6.95 or free if you're purchase is over $200. LUXBMX Store specialises in custom BMX bikes and custom wheel builds. With at least 4 custom bikes for sale on the floor at all times and can help you tie together your custom build perfectly.
LUXBMX also features a fully-functional and comprehensive workshop. Evan has 13 years of experience as a bicycle mechanic so no job is too tough. Whether its installing a set of grips all the way to a complete BMX service or fixing stripped threads if you've got a problem bring it to LUXBMX first.
